June 1, 2010 It is a sad day in WIR history as today officially ends the 7 year run of the indoor motocross race track. Through no fault of our own the landlord needed to reclaim our space so he could expand his own business dealings. The dirt is gone and the buildings are coming down. It looks like a big, pale empty building, similar to how we all feel. All we have left are the great memories and the great friends we have made over the years. We would like to thank all of you who came out to the track to either practice or race. Your support allowed us to take on an untried venture and make a go of it. To Frank, Chris and David we could not have asked for a better working crew. Thank you for helping put WIR on the map. To all of the other people who came out to help us put on a race on those frigid winter nights we thank you for your dedicated assistance. As this door closes and we reflect back on what we had, we must also look forward and wait for the next door to open. Will there ever be another WIR? Only time will tell. Your friends from WIR,
